Restaurant with seasonal dishes Edinburgh

The menu reflects the seasons and places great emphasis on local produce, which is creatively and modernly interpreted. A standout dish is the Whisky Cured Scottish Salmon, where the salmon is enhanced with whisky and served with sourdough melba toast, horseradish aioli, and pickled red onions—a perfect combination of tender texture and intense flavor. Also popular is the Duck Breast, presented with a sweet plum and ginger sauce, black pudding, and fine beans, highlighting the depth of Scottish flavors. For meat lovers, there is the Picanha Steak, a juicy cut of beef that is often praised for its perfect preparation and accompanying crispy chips. The kitchen works with changing menus to ensure the freshness and quality of the ingredients, adding a dynamic touch to the experience.

Really poor service with snobbish staff. We were told to sit at a table that was clearly too small for the group and when I pointed this out got a 'yeah and...' shrug. Won't be back, there are amazing cocktail bars in Edinburgh with friendly staff.

Nice walk into on a close off Royal Mile. Seating upstairs and quaint with a dark old world vibe. Food was delicious, had the duck. Whisky tasting was very helpful in knowing where my palate laid for the rest of the trip. Our server, Leah, was wonderful very helpful and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend for a fun enjoyable evening out.

We had dinner at the terrice at 2°C, but not chilly at all. There's heating lamp for each table that you could choose to turn on, and a blanket on the side when you need. I ordered an 8oz ribeye with the tomato sauce and the kiwi cocktail and everything taste amazing. the portions suit my appetite. service was great too, many servers passing by so its convenient if you need anything. I think the experience is worth the price.
